FUNDRAISING TIPS

2008 Need For Speed Series: Blue Ridge RelayThe Avon Foundation Need for Speed Against Domestic Violence program is proud to be a charity partner of the 2008 Blue Ridge Relay! Every year up to 10 million children witness some form of domestic violence, and they need our help. We are asking each team to dedicate their participation in the Blue Ridge Relay to raise funds to help end the cycle, so these children don't become victims or abusers in the future. The first team to raise at least $2,500 will win a free entry into next year’s race!

Funds raised will be disbursed to the domestic violence organizations, A Safe Home for Everyone and Oasis. Please note that you must be an officially-registered participant of the Blue Ridge Relay to sign up as a Need For Speed fundraiser.
